Montana Winter This site is dedicated to the winter sports available in the great state of Montana.  From downhill to dog-sledding, this site is full of interesting information about Montana's numerous cold weather activities.

Glacier National Park Located an hour or so West of Northern Ford, Glacier National Park boasts some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere, and wildlife is abundant.  Grizzly bears, mountain lions, bighorn sheep, mountain goats all call Glacier Park home, and are often easily photographed from the famed Going-to-the-Sun Road that traverses the pass at the Glacier Park Visitors Center.  A Photo Gallery, including shots from several LIVE WEBCAMS, is included in this informative website.

Great Northern Llama Co. Providing a licensed outfitter-guide service leading small groups and families on llama treks in the mountains of Northwest Montana.  Their  ridge top alpine trail offers endless panoramic views, colorful wildflower meadows, snowfields, waterfalls, wildlife and tremendous solitude.

Bob Marshall Wilderness Ranch  An exquisite mountain ranch in Northwest Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness.  This site offers a good insight into the hearts of the people of Northern Montana, and the things they hold dear- the mountains, the rivers, and the creatures that rely on them. (Including the bears, and the fish, and of course, the people!)

Lake Five Resort Situated on a 235-acre lake surrounded by private homes and summer cottages, the Lake Five Resort is far from the maddening crowd (though still close to Glacier National Park itself). Seven of the nine cabins are on the lakefront. All are equipped with bathrooms and showers. 45 RV and campground sites with 30 & 50 amp electric (14 have sewer hookups) and tipi lodges accommodating up to six are available for rent.
